THE STORY:
The Orkney Blues Festival brings together local and national artists across multiple venues for a blistering weekend of blues music, year after year. Renowned for showcasing our fierce local talent, we're proud to have such a rich and evolving collective of musicians on our doorstep - from youth to experience, this festival speak to all people.
The committee operate Orkney Blues as volunteers, and all funds go to providing bigger and better events - and attracting well-known and talented artists to the Orkney islands.

The committee is made up of blues enthusiasts and local artists, with support for the festival coming from local businesses in Orkney.
OVER 10 YEARS OF BLUES
The blues festival scene has been around for nearly 20 years in various forms, with the current festival format celebrating it's 10th birthday in 2015. We intend to continue building on the success of the festival, and are grateful to the support given freely to the festival from the businesses and people of Orkney.
