Our first two headline acts are Grammy Award-winner Alvin Youngblood Hart and Scotland’s own Blues 'N’ Trouble—bringing world-class blues to Stromness in April 2027.
Across the weekend, the Stromness Town Hall becomes our headline venue for ticketed events - transforming this already spectacular building into a blues club equipped with mainstage sound and professional lighting, along with serving Orkney's best ales and refreshments.
Each ticketed show during the festival weekend is carefully curated to showcase the blend of outstanding visiting artists alongside our very own talented musicians in the islands. That's why we recommend the Weekend Pass, and we highly encourage visitors to ensure they see every show at the Town Hall this year - you don't want to miss any of them! - culminating of course with our annual spectacular Orkney Blues Festival Finale on the Sunday evening.
