We've put an invite out to young musicians in a community with a long-standing history in cultivating exceptional musical talent in young folk - join us for BATTLE OF THE BANDS

We'd love to give the opporunity to any young musicians working on blues music, or young bands that can bring the blues to our festival audience, to join our BATTLE OF THE BANDS competition on the Sunday afternoon of the festival - with the winner performing alongide some the UK and World's finest blues headining artists at the Stromness Town Hall Blues Club on the Sunday.

And there's still time to apply, get in touch with us if you'd like to join us over the weekend for workships with our professional musicians, and join our Battle of the Bands competition on the Sunday afternoon - before those same headline musicians take the stage for real at the venue for the evening Finale of the festival.

Sure to be an incredible experience for the talent breaking through in Orkney.
