Originally from a small town in Aberdeenshire, Ellyn lives and works in Glasgow, picking up session work, teaching and being a frontwoman to many Scottish bands and projects.

Ellyn’s unique and evocative voice is often likened to Norah Jones, Adele or Eva Cassidy. In August 2019, Ellyn released her first EP, 'Arms Wide Open', capturing her versatility as she experimented with a variety of genres such as folk, pop, blues, gospel, and soul.
