ACCESSIBILITY

Most of our venues are located within a hundred meters of each other in the small town of Stromness in Orkney, and are all indoors. We will aim to provide you with as much information as we can regarding all of the events held at the festival to enable you to assess how to best access each venue. We'd welcome any advance communication of requirements to ensure any accommodations can be made.

THE VENUES

The venues used by the festival are the local hotels or established community centres or halls which all have their own accessibility plans in place, if you have any specific questions all of the particular venues will gladly answer any concerns you may have.

The traditional streets of Stromness are cobbled in parts, and there are some inclines and declines, please also note most of our venues in Stromness are around the pier front area and harbour, and the narrow streets are open to traffic in both directions. Please take care whilst moving around.

THE ROYAL HOTEL
