Get ready for an unforgettable evening of blues music at Orkney Blues Festival 2023! We're thrilled to announce that festival headliner, Animals & Friends, will be taking the stage at the Stromness Town Hall on Sunday 24th September 2023, with doors opening at 6:30pm.Â

Animals & Friends are one of the most iconic and influential blues-rock bands of all time. They've been entertaining audiences around the world for over 60 years, and their music continues to inspire new generations of fans.
John Steel founding member and rock and roll hall of fame legend. John is joined by an all star band from best of the British blues scene, Barney (Boogie) Williams, Danny Handley & Norm Helm.Â
But that's not all – Animals & Friends are just one of the many talented blues artists headlining this year's festival. Kyla Brox, The Cinneli Brothers and Rob Tognoni are just a few of the other amazing artists set to perform over the weekend, making this year's Orkney Blues Festival lineup one of the best in the industry.

ALL AGES WELCOME - but please note that Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult, and be aware that the event has a licensed bar. Proof of age checks will be in place. Under 16s can now attend our headline concert for FREE with an accompanying adult over the age of 18 - these tickets are available to select where availablity allows.
Doors open at 6.30pm with the show running til late evening (around 12.00pm)
